Childhood Town is a third-person exploration indie game in a stylized Asian town. I'm one of the four artists on the team. I'm responsible for all architecture modeling, texturing, and generation in Houdini. And I share responsibility with other artists on other asset creation, texturing, and staging in different scenes. 
Asian Garden (Natural Environment)
The scene is inspired by the Tatton park Japanese garden in the UK. I'm responsible for scene staging, lighting, foliage texture variant creation, architectural modeling, and character sequencing in the scene. I Share responsibility for landscape creation, foliage creation, and shader adjustment with another environment artist.
Town Street (Building Environment)
The scene is inspired by some images I found about Xiamen in China. I'm responsible for scene staging, lighting, architectural generation, texturing, street props creation, and character sequencing in the scene. I Share responsibility for asset creation with other artists.

Game Building Generation
I created different Houdini Digital Assets for building creation in Unreal using Houdini Engine. (one for apartment building creation and one for townhouse creation) I exposed nodes to create different color combinations by adjusting the UV position on a color palette. The HDA also includes nodes to define the dimensions of various architectural languages and random the theme and amount of decorations in the exteriors.

Texture Sheet and Stylized Texture
We learned from the art pipeline of Alba: A Wildlife Adventure. We use solid colors to create most textures and arrange our UV shells in these color blocks. Utilizing the nature of our UV sheets, I created Houdini Digital Assets (HDA) with parameters of moving the place of the shells in the UV map to generate buildings with different color paints and other outdoor components.
